  <title>MNXMFan.com Shutting down......</title>
  <link>http://www.mnxmfan.com/index.php?name=News&amp;file=article&amp;sid=462</link>
<description>So, I probably should have done this sooner, but I wanted to let everyone that still may check out the site that mnxmfan.com will be shutting down permanently by March 1, 2010.

There are a couple reasons why I am shutting this site down. First, I just don&#039;t have the time or resources available to keep this thing going anymore. Second is, I no longer have any passion for XM like I used to. Lets face it, the merger all but destroyed the good buzz that XM had, and the new company (playlists aside) just doesn&#039;t seem as friendly and willing to work with it&#039;s fans as the old one did.

So, it is with both happiness and sadness that I must announce that this site will be shut down, replaced with my own personal blog instead. Thank you to everyone who has visited this site over the years. Long term friendships were foraged out of what we all shared back in the days this site was hopping.

Thanks to XMChic for her help with the site, thanks to Stocker for helping keep this site alive back when I didn&#039;t have the money to (yeah, its been a long time, but I&#039;ll never forget the financial contribution you made to keep things going when times were tough), and thanks to the RLD for the lasting friendships that go on to this very day.
